Iron Mountain’s eMail Continuity service provides your organization with a standby email system that delivers essential capabilities during an email outage. Adding ActiveMailbox service to email continuity transforms standby email into a full-fledged email recovery solution – eliminating the need for costly, high-availability systems.

With ActiveMailbox, designated users are provided emergency access to their historical emails and attachments, allowing them to reference all recent communications and related documents. Your administrators can flexibly manage users and groups to determine who will have access to this service. This helps ensure your most valued contributors remain productive during an outage.

To balance cost versus continuity needs, administrators can define the period for which historical emails will be provided. For example, you might specify that executives have access going back 90 days, sales people 60 days, and administrative staff 14 days.
