Maximum Archive Access
Because of our unique location within the Iron Mountain vaults, Xepa Digital Studios can provide fast and secure access to our clients’ archived assets. Traditionally, difficulty in accessing content in what have been referred to as “deep archives” has led to potentially “deal breaking” delays, and possible physical deterioration of the media. Providing complete on-site Audio/Video and Graphics services and delivery through secure worldwide networks, Iron Mountain’s Xepa Digital Studios has truly redefined media archive access for rich media content owners.
Xepa Digital Studios transfers media from any vintage analog or digital Audio/Video or graphics format.
Restoration
Xepa Digital Studios provides the access and speed needed in today’s production environment, and we offer our clients the experience of our top engineering staff to restore and preserve the contents of media archives and libraries worldwide. Assets on outdated formats or precious footage on media that is literally falling apart are restored to their peak performance level and then captured on archival-quality modern physical storage formats as well as on uncompressed, highest resolution archive-compatible digital files.
Transfer
Xepa Digital Studios transfers media from any vintage analog or digital Audio/ Video or graphics format to all current digital tape, disc or file formats. Every effort has been made to ensure that the array of vintage playback equipment at Xepa is complete, and that our digital capture capability is “best in class.”
Transmission
Xepa Digital Studios understands that speed, security and convenience are essential. We transmit files via a broadband, secure, encrypted network or, if requested, ship the latest archival-quality physical media to our clients utilizing our own carefully monitored freight transportation system.
Metadata
Xepa Digital Studios provides a complete asset description service. All documentation associated with rich media assets (box surfaces, engineering notes inside the box and even those on the reel or pro cassette itself) is scanned and supplied with the digital files or physical storage media. This service can also provide the critical and logical “first pass” in the identification process often needed by our clients to review and evaluate archived content prior to beginning production work. |
