Iron Mountain Expands Film & Sound Archives Services with Acquisition of Fort Lee Films Storage & Service Co., Inc.

Acquisition Broadens Footprint in the Northeast Region for Market Leader Already Serving the Five Major Studios and Top Five Recording Labels

BOSTON, MA and FORT LEE, NJ - Iron Mountain Incorporated (NYSE: IRM), the world's trusted partner for records management and data protection services, today announced the expansion of its Film & Sound Archives business with the acquisition of the assets of New Jersey-based, Fort Lee Films Storage & Service Co., Inc., a regional leader in film and video storage. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

This acquisition expands Iron Mountain’s Film & Sound Archives services in the Northeast market and extends its reach into small- and medium-sized production houses and studios. As the pre-eminent repository for priceless film and sound assets, Iron Mountain currently counts among its customers the five major motion picture film studios and top five music recording labels. The Company’s Film & Sound Archives business unit operates in all of the primary entertainment markets including Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, Toronto, London, Paris and Vancouver, as well as secondary markets such as Miami, Atlanta and Chicago.

Fort Lee Films provides a wide range of film and video services for television distributors, broadcasters, laboratories, motion picture studios, editing houses, production companies, and in-house corporate audio-visual departments. Jeff Stone, general manager with Iron Mountain’s Film & Sound Archives operation in the New York/New Jersey market, played a key role in the acquisition and will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the business.
